  Haven't gone there but good to know they're decently priced and would love a report if you end up going.

  To report back, I ended up going to Beauty First on Fields Ertel with Nancy.  She was a chatty Cathy which for me is good and bad...good because it takes your mind off things but bad because it's kind of awkward and I feel like it made things take longer b/c she was talking a lot.  I feel like it hurt more (though still very temporary) than I remembered (she used hard wax and my previous lady Jane used soft wax with strips; she also didn't apply pressure after a pull which is supposed to soothe the nerves).  She also took about 2x as long as Jane used to (RIP) but in the end, job's done and looks good.  It's $49 there.

  I think next time (when I'm not so pressed for time) I'll try Leah at Salon LA as I've heard great things about her.  And, if someone provides positive recos for Venetian, I'd be willing to try that too since it's much closer.

  I've seen Paula for a bikini wax and she's really good. She made me feel comfortable and did good work.

  Thanks for posting this. Do you think she would do a deeper bikini wax, or did she just hit the sides?
