I know lots of you have seen this on FB, but I wanted to come by and let everyone know that we welcomed Baby Max on Sunday evening. He's gorgeous and big (9lbs, 2 oz!) and just a love bug.
And my labor/delivery was so so so different this time around. It was seriously great. I love my OB and was very lucky to have a great labor nurse. I was induced and so nervous, but I got the call to come in first thing Sunday morning and had a really nice experience. We were walking in to the maternity area and this nurse comes out and guesses who we are (since she was waiting for us) and takes us straight to a birthing suite. After getting settled, they hooked me up and things started moving pretty fast. My pain was managed really well, despite having to have my epidural re-placed (again - that happened to me last time too!) because it was only working on one side. I was in labor for a total of 5.5 hours and pushed for a total of 15 minutes or so. I'm so happy my OB got to deliver the baby this time because I completely credit her with (our ability to get pregnant with) our two kids.
Anyhow, I wanted to come share and thank you all for all your support when I've freaked out during this pregnancy. I think I'll have many more newborn freak outs (I seriously have forgotten so much since last time!).

And don't stress the new born freak outs.....it's easy to forget what we did with our firsts, we were all in new parent haze! I know I barely remember!
