My son is 3 weeks today and happily guzzles down 4 oz. Dr. says let him drink until he stops sucking- he weighed 8lbs. 1 oz. at birth and today he was 9.5 lbs.... I am kinda worried about keeping up with his appetite as I am breastfeeding.
My 3 week old baby happily ate 4 oz tonight. I pumped that much and thought it would make 2 bottles, that's more than I've pumped before. LO was 7, 9 at birth, loss down to 7, 3 and weighed in at 8, 9 at his 2 week check up.
LO has only been given one pumped bottle so far and it was 2oz. He at almost all of it and is a week and a half old. I don't think he eats quantity - he eats frequently instead, generally every 2 hours
Idk how much he's getting when I bf bc I don't pump but when I FF, he drinks 3.4-4.5 oz depending. He's 2.5 weeks and an eating machine. He was 8.11# at birth, 8.14# at the doc at his 1 week appt. Today we go again and I'm really interested in seeing how huge he is!
Baby, you've got the sort of eyes that tell me tales... :Blog:
Liam eats anywhere from 4-5 oz and he will e 6 weeks tomorrow. It's hard to say if this amount is completely accurate because he is mainly EBF, but last week when we were out of town I did pump a lot because we had a lot of things to do, people to see, etc...
My son is also 3 weeks today, and he also takes 4oz (I formula feed though). He was 8lbs, 15oz at birth and at his appointment right before 2 weeks he was 9lbs 7oz.

He has taken 4 oz every 3 hours since he was 3 weeks old. I give him 5 oz in the morning and for the last night feeding. If I give him 5 oz all day he throws it up... projectile.
He weighs about 9-10 pounds? He was 8 pounds at his 2 week check up, but we won't weigh him again until next week at his 2 month appt.
I formula feed and LO is going through her 6 week growth spurt. So last night she had 4 bottles with 5oz every 2 hours! And she would drink it all with no spit-up. Normally she has 4oz every 4 hours. And then this morning she has only had 2 bottles 3 hours apart and has only drank 1 oz from them. She is just all over the place today.
AJ is 4 weeks and will do anywhere from 4-6 oz. a feeding. He was doing 4 oz. at 2 weeks. The doctor said it was alright to feed him what he wanted. As long as he was gaining weight, he was ok. Usually he clusters at night and does 7 oz. total before a 6-8 hour sleep.
I haven't been to the doctor since his first well baby appointment the Monday after he was born (a Tuesday). He was 9.2 when born and 8.12 when released. He was 8.13 that Monday. He's definitely gaining though...
