stupid migraines

anyone have a miracle cure?!  I have always gotten  AF headaches, but now I get them 4 or 5 days before.  The last 3 cycles it has been exactly 9dpiui and they have been particularly brutal:(

    UGH, migraines are the worst.  The one thing I do is lay in a dark room with a cold wash cloth over my eyes while DH rubs my head to try and get me to relax.  I wish there was a miracle cure.  Good luck, hope it doesn't last long!

    I have not had one while TTC but I usually take a hot bad and have an ice pack on my eyes in the dark.  For some reason the combo of hot body, cold eyes makes mine much less severe.  But if you're before AF, I don't know I'd want to take that hot a bath.

    If you think they are related to AF talk to your doctor.  I've had migraines since I was 6, but in the last year they've moved to generally being around AF.  I researched it and my md confirmed that they can be related to a drop in estrogen.  I haven't tried it yet, but my RE actually prescribed me an estrogen patch.  He said to put it on when you expect your period and it'll last for 5 to 7 days.

    I get them so bad and have since I was 7. Not at all related to my cycle. My grandma used to put rubbing alcohol on a rag (not too much) and put it on my forehead. It worked wonders. I have only done it a few times lately and it works but I don't know how safe it is. Never asked. At that moment I don't care I just want it to be gone.

    HATE migraines.. I cant take my normal Migraine medicine, Topamax, while TTC because it causes severe birth defects. Im not a caffeine drinker, so normally a lil caffeine helps me out with a REALLY bad headache.. Hope you find a good cure, when you do lemme know ;) hahaha! <3<3
