Update on Will's Rice Cereal Incident

Turns out it wasn't the rice cereal at all!  Apparently when you have a virus like a cold youc an get a rash on your torso.  Who knew?  Not me, apparently.

Though - the pediatrician did have me hold up on feeding him anything solid till this passes - then we'll give it a go again.

    Poor baby! I hope that his rash and cold go away quickly. I am so glad that he isn't allergic to rice though! That would be a bummer of an allergy! Thinking of you guys, mama!

    Glad to hear it. And frankly, you can skip rice cereal altogether. We did - it's not a necessary step and it really can just constipate them. You can go straight to pureed fruits and veggies. It's way more fun anyway. If I had it to do over I would just follow Baby-Led-Feeding...

    Lucy got the same thing a few months ago.  They looked like little zits on her torso and legs.  I didn't even know till I took her in for ear infections and pink eye and the doc told me the rash was related.

    Did you get an ointment/cream for it?  We got some, can't remember the name, but it cleared it up in a day or two.

    Hope the little man is feeling better soon!
