Swaddling = heat rash

Help- LO does not sleep well if she's not swaddled- she's constantly whacking herself in the head or scratching her face and waking herself up.  But when we swaddle her (using Summer swaddles), she ends up with a heat rash on her entire chest/stomach.

Any thoughts or suggestions?  Would it be cooler to swaddle her in a blanket?

    I would swaddle her in her diaper in the summer swaddle blanket. Try a muslin swaddle blanket.

    We keep a fan going at night (no A/C here) but it doesn't seem to help.  I've got her in her diaper now and the summer swaddle because she NEEDS a nap... we'll see what happens when she gets up!

    She didn't sleep long enough to find out.  Today is a poopy day for us.
