I am already overweight so pre-pregnancy was trying to lose. I only lost 10 lbs before I found out and I've lost 4 since. The thought of gaining the "normal" 25 lbs makes me want to hurl! I can NOT gain anywhere near that because I'm already so big. I hope to lose weight while preg as much as everyone frowns on it. As long as the baby is growing adequately I don't see a problem with it.
We conceived this little baby on our cruise.... so I came home 5 pounds heavier just from being a pig! LOL Other than that, I don;t think I've gained any baby weight just yet.
"If every word I said, could make you laugh - I'd talk forever".
I am down 3 lbs from the weight I was on the day I got my BFP. I dont know how realistic that number is since I am ridiculously bloated and I feel like depending on the day and what I ate the scale could fluctuate 5 lbs lol but I am going to make myself feel good by assuming that -3lbs is correct (I could stand to lose a few lbs thats why I am not worried about the weight loss) plus I have been eating healthier and a lot less since my m/s is starting to get worse.
I try not to weigh myself too much when pregnant b/c I am a firm believer that the whole "gain 25-30lbs at most" is a load of sh*t...I think your body gains what it needs to gain and for some people thats more and for some people thats less. Now obviously you shouldnt go nuts but I've known people who gained 70lbs while pg and lost it within a month or two and people who have gained 20lbs when pg and kept the weight on for a year....who knows, try not to stress! :-)
About 3 to 5 (I say "about" because honestly, how can you really tell how much is bloat and how much is real weight!?) I'm pretty slender to begin with and cannot believe just how... well how long it takes for food to make it all the way through me these days, haha! I've never had this problem before! Some nights my husband and I laugh that I actually LOOK 20+ months along (this is my first baby - so I'm definitely not showing "real" baby yet, haha).
As of this morning, I haven't gained anything yet. With DD, I gained 42lbs total (I blame some of that due to being on bed rest for 16 weeks and not being able to move around). I am hoping to keep the weight gain to about 25-30lbs this time around!
I'm down between 6-10 from morning sickness. Some of that may be due to the fact that I was running in early pregnancy, and had already been losing weight. But I am back up a few pounds from my lowest weight- I guess I'm feeling better as I get closer to the 2nd Trimester!
