What water are you using? I supplement with formula occasionally and use BRU water. I am weaning from BM so LO will be taking in a lot more formula and am wondering if buying water is really neccesary. TIA

We used nursery water for a little while, did our research, and realized our tap water was just fine -- so that's what we use now.

We just use tap water... but we live in CO which from what I've heard and read is one of the states with the cleanest water.

I use the Nursery water with my formula. There have even been a couple times when I just bought storebrand Purified water and it all works fine. The Nursery water costs more. I think at BRU it is $1.39 a gallon and it can vary depending on where you buy it. But the store brand purified water cost 99 cents.

I use my tap water. When I got prego, I got my water tested for lead and other chemicals just to be on the safe side. You may want to do that if you are concerned. It's very inexpensive.

Otherwise, if you do choose to use bottled water, talk to you pedi about adding fluoride supplements (or choose water with fluoride) that baby won't get without tap water.

We use nursery water. Our pedi told us to use it and when the culligan man was here today he said that are some added minerals in the nursery water.

It really depends on where you live and the source of your tap water.

I only just started using formula everyday and we use city tap water. Our pedi told us today that tap water is fine to use.

We've been using distilled water because our tap water is nasty. Walmart sells it for around 80 cents a gallon. Now that we have a few empty jugs though, we'll probably start putting water through our Brita pitcher and storing it in the jugs instead.
