Lately it's been so hard neeling over the bath to wash LO in it.. we put his baby bathub in our main bathtub but it's just been so physically uncomfortable neelin g and then getting him out, etc
is there anything besides baby bathtub you use? anything easier to make bathtime more fun?
Re: bath - what do you use now?
We just put him in the regular bathtub. It still involves kneeling and everything, but we just kneel on one of the bath rugs.
One thing I did do when I had bruised my knee badly was straddled the side of the tub so one foot was in the bathtub. This allowed me to wash him without kneeling.
And to make it fun I taught him how to splash (my wife has already thanked me for that one) and we give him spray toys and a rubber duck.

Sorry to hear your DD hates baths! Maybe the water is not warm (or cool) enough? I'm sure you've tried that but just a suggestion. DS used to hate baths, too, but grew out of that about 2 months ago.
OP --- We use the baby bathtub in the big bathtub. We use this kneeler so we're not kneeling on the tile: https://www.target.com/Fisher-Price-Precious-Planet-Bath-Kneeler/dp/B001OC62XM/ref=br_1_25?ie=UTF8&id=Fisher-Price%20Precious%20Planet%20Bath%20Kneeler&node=13914581&searchSize=30&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-25&qid=1302708855&rh=&searchBinNameList=target_com_category-bin%2Ctarget_com_character-bin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&searchRank=pmrank&frombrowse=1
It definitely helps!

We have one of the big Primo bathtubs that we just put down inside the regular tub. I still have to kneel but it seems easier as they are sort of contained. Also, I have a foam kickboard (like you use at the pool) and I just kneel on that.
We have bath squirty toys that both of them love and we let them have a little fun playing and splashing.
I usually have DH on hand to help get them out so I'm not trying to lift a wet, squirming baby and get their towel on them at the same time.
Doesn't help with the kneeling, but we have a floating bath ring and DD loves it! She can reach for her toys without going under! Of course we still keep and hand on her, but it helps hold her up.

We also have the Primo tub. My only complaint is that it's slippery. So now we put down a washcloth for her to sit on.
I kneel on a pillow - it helps a lot.
This.
