Re-Intro and Hi Ladies!

Hi Ladies....

It has been what feels like years since I have posted here. After an extended bump break, I think I am finally ready to come back... if you will have be of course. :) I recognize a bunch of you.. and see there is some new "faces" as well.

For the newbies... this is brief version of my story. At 23w 5d, we terminated due to medical cause. Our daughter had something known as Amniotic Band Syndrome. I won't go into the graphic details - but she suffered a great deal in her short life and we were not willing to allow her suffering to continue. The burden was meant to be ours - not her's. So, now I can honestly say, she is in a better place. It was an act of love - not giving up. We had and held her still body for about 3.5 hours- and she was the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. She is missed everyday and will be loved forever.

On another note, DH and I still aren't trying. Although, our relationship is amazing, we have some kinks to work out before we start trying again. One of which is my job. Although I am currently employed - I am looking elsewhere. I am just not happy where I am. I hope you don't mind me hanging out here. I still need the support from you amazing ladies now and again and would love to offer you the same. I have healed quite a bit over the past 1.7 years... but, at times I am still a mess. Pain never goes away completely, right?

I am hoping that DH and I will start again late summer or fall. With some hard work, I think we will be ready by then.

    I was just wondering what you were up to the other day.  I ws really hoping you were coming back to announce a BFP but I think I understand where you are at in that journey.  Welcome back!

    Connor Thomas 6/6/08. Discovered missed miscarriage at 17 wks 3 days, D&C 11/25/09. Please, please, please - BFP 5/21/11, EDD 2/1/11. Beta@12DPO=52, Beta@14DPO=158. U/S 7/7/11 shows strong baby measuring a couple days ahead!!! Pregnancy Ticker
