Hey Kathy!  Thanks for doing this.  I hope you are feeling better!

Update:  I started estrace and lovenox last Friday for IVF #3.  I'll start lupron around May 12 and ET and ER will be in the begining of June.  I'm really hoping third time is a charm!  Magnolia_Femme's BFP definitely gives me hope!

QOTD:  I have purchased some work clothes from Ann Taylor Loft and Banana Republic for spring.  I'm not sure I have a favorite spring accessory.  I guess that means I need to get one!

  • Hey hey!!

In 2WW.  Beta is 4/19.  Trying to keep myself busy.

Not really any spring clothes shopping yet.  I did trade in my car this weekend for a CR-V.  I love the lower payments and it's pretty mermaid green color.

What kind of car did you trade in?  MH and I are looking to replace my car in the near future!  I love it, but found out this past year that it won't run if the hybrid system goes out (I was told it would).  Repairs to the hybrid system would be outrageous out of warranty.  So, we will get rid of my car before the warranty expires.

  • Kathy, I hope you're recovering well.

Update: today started lupron for IVF#2, same protocol but will add assisted hatching.

QOTD: I did some small shopping for tops and new heels. I rarely wear accessories, I like them I just can't commit. Maybe sunglasses are in order? I'm in the search for a tan purse that is not to heavy but large enough to fit all the stuff I carry around.

Good luck to the girls on the 2ww, hang in there!

I traded in a Suzuki XL-7.  It got pretty decent gas mileage for a car that size, but it was still way bigger than I needed (I bought it just prior to TTC because I thought TTC would be easy and I'd totally have a LO by now.  That was 3+ years ago.  Ha).

Yes, repairs to Hybrids are terrible.  The CR-V right now is getting like 26 MPG and we leased it since I work at home and don't drive a ton anymore.  Leasing was way cheaper for us.

We also looked at the Chevy Cruz, and that car can get up to 40 MPG!  I liked the car, but it just wasn't pratical for our lifestyle.

  • Good luck to all!  We need a massive BFP boom and exodus to PAIF.

Update:  Baseline yesterday was good, so I'm starting stims tomorrow 4/14 for IVF #3.  Woot!  I agree with STL, Magnolia's BFP on IVF #3 gives me hope.

QOTW:  Nothing really.  My last day at my job is next Monday 4/18 and we're doing IVF #3.  Trying to cut back the extra shopping.

Thanks!  I currently have a Toyota Highlander Hybrid and I absolutely love it (other than the hybrid system went out a few months ago - luckily it was still under warranty).  I hate to get a new car right now.  MH and I have gotten use out of the third row seating with my nieces and nephews, but I don't know if I should get another SUV or get a car.  If one of these cycles actually works, we will want another SUV and probably one with third row seating.

I really like the CR-V but it I don't think third row seating is an option in it.  I just don't know what to do!  So, I keep putting car shopping off!

My Suzuki had 3 rows (which we literally used twice).  It was a pretty good car for most part of it.  The XL-7 is built on the same platform as the Honda Pilot, so maybe that would be a good one for you too.

The New Explorers look great too, I think.
