Does this happen? I hope so and hope this is a phase. Our daughter has been on solids since she turned 5 months. She is on two meals a day and we are still offering her 6 ounce bottles/5 times a day. In the last week, she has taken a pretty big decline in her milk intake and her interest in solid foods. I am totally going with her flow and not trying to "get her" to finish her bottles or eat more since she is sttn. But there are def days where she didnt eat much and drinks only 20 ounces.
I wonder if this is just a low growth phase? We are moving on to three meals a day in the next two weeks and I am hoping she will drop a bottle, so she will at least finish her bottles instead of only drinking 3 ounces each.
Any advice is appreciated.
Re: Opposite of growth spurt=lack of eating/drinking phase?
Is she teething?
DS started doing this last week. He had a cold and we found out he also had an ear infection. His appetite has slowly picked back up, but still isn't back to what it was before his ear infection. Since he's been on meds for his ear infection, I'm thinking he's teething.
Maybe she's teething or has an ear infection?
Our kids are about the same age- you all are a week a head of us and this happened to your LO last week and happening to mine this week, so this gives me hope!
