DW and I have helped my mom compile a list of people that we would like to invite to the baby shower.
We only invited family (we both have large families and are very close to them) a few close friends and only a few choice and close co workers.
I added them all up today....93! ::Gulp!::
We don't want to leave any important people out but I feel like thats a lot!
Re: How many people at baby shower?
20.
That's mostly close friends and a few fam members that live close by. I decided not to invite my CW friends, etc.
I really really wish we could do this, however no one on DW's side has offered to throw us one.
I believe 85 were invited and 65 showed up and the others sent stuff to be at shower. DH has a huge family. This wasn't counting kids under 18 either that attended.
Gifts literally took 2 hours without breaks.
Boooo! On the flipside maybe no offer was extended because a surprise is in the works? Just sayin.
Is it totally out of the question to throw yourself one? I'm just saying if it's too hectic to think of that many people at one time. Then again, putting together a shower on your own could be stressful. Maybe someone would offer to take over then?
