Ok so I had IUI 3/26, took Femara 5mg. IUI was cd17 (late IMO, I don't think I responded at all though, a 12 on cd12). I didn't have much hope but I tested 11, 14, 15 dpIUI, all BFN. I'm not on any progesterone or anything different, taking same dose of Met as always.
AF still hasn't shown, today is cd34. This is the longest cycle I've had since I first came off birth control when TTC DS. I had regular cycles when TTC#1 after starting met. Since having DS I was having regular cycles with or without Met, pretty much every 28 days. The last 6 months were a little more variable 30-32 days.
RE doesn't do a beta unless you're late, I called to tell them I'm late and I'm not pregnant and they want to start me on Prometrium x10 days to bring on AF. I can handle the BFN b/c I sort of knew this wasn't it but it just really pisses me off that now all of a sudden my body just doesn't know how to act?!? WTF? Thoughts? I know that there isn't really anything to say. Next cycle will have to be a break because DH is having another surgery 4/28.
Thanks for reading if you made it through that jumble of a vent.
Re: Here's an IF (PCOS) WTF for ya
The u/s was cd12, so he counted out for it to mature by cd17, I triggered Thursday evening and did IUI Saturday morning. But I went to my office (where I work) and had the Dr scan me on Friday (cd16) before IUI, I had a small amount of free fluid on one side and a 14 on the other. So I'm going with not O'ing at all, but I've been having regular cycles and don't think I O every month.
I could do a beta here at work. I may not start the prog yet, since I'm not in a huge hurry b/c next cycle is a break. Just frustrated.

If you've got access, why not run a beta plus a progesterone check? That should tell if you've O'ed or not.
The extra progesterone won't hurt though right? I was taking progesterone to induce a period for our second IVF when I tested just to make sure before I stopped it and sure enough...I was. The doc kept me on it because my level was good with it...so it can't hurt right?
I wouldn't think so, I think it'd be starting it and then stopping it that would be more of an issue. But not sure! I've been pregnant on it and off it, and I've also had a c/p on it, so who knows??
