If you used the chinese gender chart correctly by using your Lunar age and Lunar month you concieved was it correct for this baby or previous babies you've had?
There is a website I found I think called the laboroflove.com or something similar to this that will calculate it for you. It asks for your birthday and month of conception and approximate day and it tells you what gender your baby may be and what Lunar age you are and Lunar month you concieved is.
The only think that can accurately predict the sex of your child is knowing the genotype of the exact sperm that fertilized your egg. there are many different theories, but it matters not when you were born or what day you conceived. A more scientific method exists for those who chart, but that is still a crap shoot.
It is just for fun ladies, - I'm sure most of us know that its genes that make up little boys and little girls. And yes, its the father's sperm that is the deciding factor - since we only carry XX, we can only give one X to the baby - the males carry XY so it depends if the sperm is X or Y. That technically is the deciding factor.
But Its always fun to be able to do little predictions and test.

I don't know. Given how many times people post on here asking how accurate these are, I sincerely wonder if they realize that none of the criteria you enter into these predictors has anything to do with the sex of your baby. If they DID know that, they'd know that the predictor is not accurate at all and they wouldn't feel the need to ask a group of strangers about it. Posts like this make me doubt posters' intelligence.
This link does the work for you. According to the bump chart I am supposed to have a boy, according to the linked chart we are having a girl. Guess we will find out in 19 weeks.
Strawberry's Pumkin; Grown just for her, started on her birth day.
I never knew that you were supposed to use your lunar age. I had always just used my age. With that it said a boy, when I went back and did it with my lunar age it said girl, which is correct. I'm having a girl.

That is the same boat I was in! On the Bump it doesn't specify that you are supposed to use your lunar age, and that is how its set up.
But, when I went back through and did it again it said girl!
I want a girl so badly, but my husband wants the typical boy first, then girl.
I have nothing against boys, but since they run rampant in my family, I'd like to have two little girls. Oh well - its already be decided and there is nothing I can do about it!

This. My SO always (jokingly) complains that I didn't give him his boy first to which this is always my response. lol
The gender chart on thebump said I was having a girl, which is right. The lunar one of laboroflove.com said a boy *shrugs*

The one on the Bump was right for me, but the one linked above was wrong for me.
I seriously doubt that every 27 yr old woman who conceived in November is having a boy. Sorry.
This has always been my concern/curiosity with gender prediction charts.
However, the link that was posted, they ask for the conception month and day. What if you don't know the specific DAY you conceived?
ETA: I tried the link posted above and it kept saying girl (we were told last weekend it is a boy, but only 85% certainty). I changed the days a few times, because we are unsure exactly when we conceived and it kept saying girl.

It was correct for DD but it was wrong for this baby. Said "she" was supposed to be a "he".
But oh well, 2 daughters will be fun!!!

I used it and yes it was accurate for me. Chinese predicted I would have a girl and yep -- she's a girl!
But then again the gender chart has a 50/50 chance of being right... good odds...

Chinese gender chart did not work for me lol. I did it for fun anyway. Said I was having a boy and there is a little girl swimming around in there.
The one on the Bump was right for me, but the one linked above was wrong for me.

It was accurate for me the first time. This time, it predicts a girl.
ETA: I just tried the labor of love link... and it said boy. Guess it's a crap-shoot.
It was wrong for me. It said I was going to have a boy and when we the Ultra Sound day came in...it was clear as day that we are having a girl.
The "proper" Chinese gender chart (i.e. lunar age and lunar month) was wrong for me, but the Bump version of the chart was right.
