Iv always wanted like 3 or 4 kids and during my pregn i really thought this was it i was never doing this again i hated every min. of it! On our way home from the hospital I told FI that i cant wait for more lol. I think we will wait a while tho seeing he isonly 2.4 weeks old lol
I wanted 2 but I had a really hard labor and I am still getting the hang of being a mom and my lil man isnt bad but at this point I can't imagine going through the newborn stage again.
DH and I had the "how many kids" discussion right before we got married last May. At the time, we thought 3 would be a good number. After the trouble I had with this pregnancy, we've agreed #2 will be it, and since it'll be c-section anyways, I'm just going to get it taken care of then. We're going to wait about a year before trying again for #2.
i've never had anything against only having one child. my bf thinks 2 is a good number. but right now i won't even have it up for discussion for about 5 years. maybe then i'll want to do it over again, but as for now i can't even seriously consider it.
We didn't ever really agree on a number before DD was born. I wanted 3 or 4 and DH only wanted 2. I haven't changed my mind and DH has now decided that 3 is a good number. Now we can't agree on when. I would honestly start trying in about 5 or 6 months, but he's not ready, he wants to wait at least a year.

After the labor and delivery... we went from agreeing on having 4 to my boyfriend saying we are one and done. However, I HATE being an only child. Sure, I was spoiled and got whatever I wanted, but it was boring. I will trick him if I have to to get another. He is beginning to come around. We will have at least 2.

I've always wanted 2 and still do. DH was open to multiple children but says he would be more than happy with only 1. I'll convince him to have another though. :-)
I was going to choose "We wanted more than one but this one will be it now" but it's too early to say. I had a "not-low risk" pregnancy (according to my OB, so I guess he didn't want to call me high risk, but too high of risk for a midwife, which I'd originally wanted!) that ended in a c-section because LO was breech.
I have since had a ton of complications with infection in the incision and bfing issues with DS (and subsequently feeding formula b/c of the meds I'm on). I had said to DH that IF I could go through pregnancy with the guarantee of a VBAC, I'd definitely try for another.
I spoke to my OB yesterday, and he told me that during the surgery, although they cut horizontally, I tore vertically and therefore VBAC is not an option for me. That pretty much sealed it for me...but maybe it's too early to tell. I've always wanted to adopt so that's something I'll explore more, and I already have a SS who's 11 as well.

I have always wanted one, but DH wants two. We will see who wins.
