I've been EPing since DD was 8 months. She weaned herself from BFing, but I didn't want to switch to formula so I just kept pumping. She's 13 months now and I still pump. We started her on cow's milk, so her bottles are half and half. Some family members think it's weird that I still pump, but I'm perfectly fine with it and I'm glad DH still gets the nutritional benefits of my milk.
Re: Anyone out there still EPing?
I EPed for 9 months and had enough frozen milk to get DD to a year (well, 1 week shy of her first birthday). I don't think it's "weird" to keep going if it's something you're willing to do and it works with your schedule, etc. I wish I could have done it longer but like pp said, I was SO mentally drained that it was becoming more detrimental to us than a pro. So do it while you can! If you want to continue and they still nag you about it then ignore them! It's not benefiting them any to be rude like that! Don't stop because you feel pressured. You may feel bitter towards them later if you do. Stop when you're ready to stop!
