Where are your car seats positioned? I'm worried about putting the two car seats next to each other for fear of Ava hurting the baby (not on purpose obviously). Our car seat is also pretty large so I don't even think it would be possible.
I nanny for two kids (currently 3 1/2 and 18 months.) Both in their mom's car (SUV) and my car (Subaru Forrester) we have the car seats on the left and right sides of the car. They really didn't fit next to each other, plus my car only has LATCH on the side seats.
infant seat is behind the drivers side, bigger seat is behind passenger. We are getting rid of the infant for a convertible soon and DD #1 is going into a convertible/booster combo in the next week. We have a small car though.
We have the infant seat behind the passenger seat in case we have to give him his pacifier and the convertible seat for DD behind the driver seat. She has never once tried to throw something at him.
When we had C in the infant seat, we had her in the middle and B was behind the driver's side in his convertible seat. We got C a convertible a couple of months ago and had to put it behind the passenger side because they were too big not to fit next to each other.
B never bothered Cecilia in her seat at all. Rear facing, it was kind of hard for him to do anything to her. They did like to hold hands and giggle at each other, though. Still do
Re: Daisy and those with two little ones
We have 2 Britax Marathons- both rear-facing and one is behind the passenger seat, the other behind the driver's seat.
If Ava is in her seat w/ the chest clip high enough she probably would not be able to reach the baby- maybe they could hold hands...
Did you have the infant seat behind the driver/passenger seat as well?
I just have a fear of her chucking a book at the baby or something.
