Diaper rash from yogurt...anyone else??

DD is just over 8 months old. Two weeks ago, I gave her yogurt for the first time - she was teething simultaneously. Well, she broke out in the most horrible diaper rash ever - raw, weeping sores for the first time ever. I didn't know whether it was due to the yogurt or her top teeth popping through.

Fast forward to yesterday,.After almost two weeks of that original diaper rash healing, I tried giving her a small amount of yogurt again. She loves it, and I wanted to see if the rash was from the yogurt. Sure enough, today she started getting a few "raw" spots on her bottom. The funny thing is that she tolerates cheese just fine, so I don't think it's necessarily the dairy component of yogurt that's causing the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? Her 9-month appointment is in three weeks and I'll avoid yogurt until then and ask the doctor, but I was just wondering if anyone else had any insight. Thanks.
