Hmm...is this karma??

Joe and Katie were baking my birthday cake in the oven. All of a sudden, it sparks, turns bright white, then a fire errupts, and the coils in the oven crack. It's broken. Ugh! Katie doesn't understand why we can't have cake.

So, we ordered one online after researching for about an hour. No way we can get into the stores this late to get one. Ugh!

It won't come for 2 weeks since we got a special order one from Lowe's. They were the cheapest price at almost $100 from all other websites. We were shocked. We decided to wait since it was a good deal.

What a way to enter 30.

    All I can say is welcome to your 30's! Poor Katie! I'd be upset over no cake also!

    Yikes! I don't know if it's karma, but it's pretty freaky...lol. Gotta love a new oven though, right? Happy Birthday! :)

    I don't know if it's Karma, but that sucks.  Everyone told me that 30 wasn't so bad, but I don't believe them now.  My Mom fell and broke her foot and Brian's grandma died the day I turned 30.
