And how? Adi will be one in about a week and a half, and I gave him a little whole milk mixed with BM yesterday, just to see how he did. He loved it, and he seemed to tolerate it well...do I just keep mixing it with BM, and when should I up the amount of whole milk, and how long before I put him on straight whole milk?
Also, if you go organic, do you still plan to give baby pasteurized whole milk?
Re: When are you switching to whole milk?
Our child health nurse suggested mixing cow's milk with boiled water to make it a little easier on tummies at first, I tried giving Lucy this as a drink a few days ago but it wasn't taken so well from the bottle - she still loves just water from her bottle.
I might try it in a cup...she has WCM on her breakfast cereal so I know she can tolerate a small amount but hopefully she will be fully off bm by the end of this year (we are only doing one morning and one night feed now)
