We just found out we are having a boy, so now I am torn on nursery furniture. We have a large bookcase shelving unit that is white that we will be keeping in the nursery, so I was originally thinking of getting white crib and dresser to match. FYI, we are not planning on using the nursery furniture for toddler room down the road, just for the nursery.
So my questions are: (1) do you think white furniture is too girly for baby boy? (2) alternatively, do you think the large white shelving unit in combination with darker wood furniture would look okay?
Re: Opinions please: white nursery furniture for boy?
I love white baby furniture. We are team green and doing white furniture.
I think white shelving with dark furniture would probably be fine, but I would prefer all white.

Ditto what everyone else has said. I love white nursery furniture and have thought about painting mine for DS, which is stained. (it looks like a beaver attacked it because DD chewed it up so much. I'm too cheap to replace the crib when I know DC#2 will likely chew on it also!)

We have white furniture in our DS's room. It's so cute! We have a red bookcase in there, too.
We're about to move the white furniture to our new girl's room and Andrew will get a big boy bed in a wood stain color and keep the red bookcase.
I think white furniture is just fine for a boy nursery! Enjoy!
