Where do you store the lids for your pots and pans?
We have an island where we keep the pots and pans, skillets, etc. and we used to keep the lids in the drawer under our stove. Now we have a new stove, and the drawer is MUCH smaller, we can't fit over half of them in there.
Anybody have an efficient way of storing them? Right now I have them in a clothes basket in my kitchen but that's obviously not a permanent solution.
Re: Dumb kitchen question
We have this rack thingy from Ikea that you screw into either the back of one of your cabinet doors or a door in your pantry and it holds all the lids-- similar to this:

The only downside is it works best on a larger door--we have it on our cabinet door but since the organizer is close to the same size as the door we cant use the top rung of it b/c the pot lid will be higher than the cabinet if that makes any sense but other than that its great :-)
Exactly this - I have the same one from Ikea & it's cheap! Though I don't remember the last time I actually cooked something that didn't involve opening a can, dumping in bowl & pushing start on the microwave.
BTW- I think your kitchen is looking great!!
This is genius! I knew someone would have a great idea!

We have something similar that sits in a shelf, rather than mounted to the cabinet door. I got it at WalMart, and it was maybe $4. Lifesaver. I bought a larger slotted organizer to sit on another cabinet shelf that organizes my baking pans and cookie sheets. Must haves IMO.
