Who else has lost their belly button?

As of last weekend, mine is completely gone! I can't believe it's happened this early.

My son asked "Mommy...where's your belly button?"
I replied "The baby ate it." lol

Who else, and what week did it go away?

Mine is half gone. It's there when I am sitting down, but then I stand up and it disappears. lol

Mine hasn't disappeared - I've grown another one, LOL!

I had mine pierced, and I finally took it out last week. Now the hole is stretching way out (side to side), and my bellybutton is getting kind of shallow and "horizontal" too, so it totally looks like I have two bellybuttons, one on top of the other! It makes me giggle every time I look in the mirror Smile

LOL! I am glad you posted this. I freaked out over the weekend because mine is noticably shallower than it used to be. It's still there, but only about 1/2 as "deep." I freaked and DH was like, "yeah... I noticed that." Why didn't he tell me?!?! I'm thinking at some point in the future I'll have no belly button. So weird.

I'm 23 weeks and it's almost gone, getting shallower by the day. I was overweight to start with though so I think it has more length to cover before it disappears and will take longer that some of you gals.

Mine's pretty much gone. I had no idea it could happen this early. Plus if I wear a tighter fitting shirt you can see it popping out a bit - not huge yet but enough to draw attention to it.

Mine is also getting more shallow! I had a piercing there in college and it ripped out during a passionate night with DH Embarrassed

and now I have a pretty bad scar there. Well now the scar is spreading and it looks pretty gross.

I also have a belly ring scar, but mine came out when it got hooked on a sweater and I took the sweater off too fast....OUCH!
I wish it was during a night of passion! lol

Hmmm. I think that I have a really deep belly button. I don't know that I've ever even seen the bottom of it. It's still about 1/2 an inch deep. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll just flatten instead of popping.

Funny story - I was playing "Where's your belly button?" with DD the other day. She lifts up her shirt and points to her belly. Then I said, "Look, mommy has a belly button, too!" and lifted up my shirt a bit to show her. The look of repulsion on her face was hillarious. I know she was thinking, "WTF is wrong with that thing?!".

mine is getting quite shallow, but is being pulled upwards.. so (with my old belly piercing) it looks like a messed up smiley face.. hahaha

Oh my gosh, these comments are literally making me LOL! DH and I have noticed that my belly button is starting to look different and feel tighter, but I didn't know (or maybe realize) that it was going to disappear of some sorts or "pop out"--I'm a first time momma.

I love reading these boards, I learn so much from them!

Thanks ladies, for the smile and the warnings of a disappearing belly button.

Looks like I need to fast forward in some of my pregnancy books.
