Rice Cereal ?

I told DD to the Pedi today and she told us to start feeding her rice cereal. I was wondering how much did you feed your LO's and how long did you wait till you introduced vegi's? Plus she told us to start her with vegi's then work our way to fruit then meat. How long did you ladies keep them on one food group till you moved them on the the next.

Of course I remember all these questions when I get home!

    You might start with just a tablespoon of cereal and mix it with enough breast milk or formula to thin it out. Don't give too much the first time. You can increase the serving over the next few days. You can move on to fruit or veggies as you please. We actually started with bananas first and then did oatmeal and then prunes, etc. You don't have to go in any particular order. Just feed one food for 3-4 days to make sure there's no allergy.
