this is how i feel about the March message board ...

You know that cell phone commercial that shows various people in varous situations referring to their cell phone and saying "it says ...". One is a little girl saying to a monster "it says you're not real", etc.

I just saw that commercial and I feel like that's me and our board ...

"it says her fussy time is normal"

"it says to call the doctor"

"it says most MILs act like that"

"it says to buy the other brand"

etc, etc, etc. DH used to tell me to stop spending so much time on the baby websites, but now it's "what does it say??"

    My DH was the same way. Eventually he gave in and starting asking "what do the 'girls' say?"

    My husband thought it was still that I was always on here too.. but now, anytime we have a question he says, "Ask the bump!"

    yes!!! you are all "the girls" and my boyfriend is always "are you over there bumping?" but i NEED this because i don't know any other newbie moms or moms with kids exactly my kids age and i need to know things before i freak out! we've been together so long i need to know how everyone's babies are doing etc etc.

    Yes I love reading this board and the March board is the best. It's been kinda quiet lately, though...

    My boyfriend says all these things!!  I love that you compared it to that commercial... it is so true.

    Boyfriend lines:

    "Are you bumping again..."

    "Why are you asking me... when I know you want to ask 'them' "

    "Why do you even need a baby book when you have The Bump." 

    "Do you talk about our sex life on The Bump?" - to which I usually shake my head and say "Of course not."  Haha..
