Woohoo! Back from the anatomy scan! It's a . . .
. . . healthy baby BOY!
We are just so incredibly excited. I just couldn't get over for the news for at least an hour and had to keep saying it out loud to myself. It was a great appointment. Everything looks really good and really healthy.
We celebrated by going to Ikea and buying a bookshelf for the boy's (I can't believe I can say that!) room. We also bought two onesies: one for The Beatles (yes, I'm a nerd), and one for Rocky (my dad loves the movie).
More than anything, I was so relieved and happy to hear that everything appears to be healthy and progressing just fine. DH took the day off work so we could relax, shop, and enjoy together.
Our families will be getting Easter baskets this week. Thanks to whoever put that suggestion out there! So for now it's just between me, DH, and the September board. Don't tell. 
I am now going to continue my celebration with a nap! I could barely sleep last night. But I'll be back in a bit.

Aside from our chosen boy name of Henry, I also love Benjamin, James, Liam, and Andrew.

The boy names listed are Desmond, Maxwell, and Jude. I like all 3.
If we have a boy his name will be Henry too! Henry Walker H., if we have a 2nd boy we will name him Marshall Everett.

Yea!! Congrats on the little boy! My favorite boy names are Mason, Weston & Benson...DH likes Mason best so I think we are going with that if LO is a boy.
On a side note I had a weird dream I was having triplets and one was a boy and I named him Jude...no idea where that came from, but a good Beatles name like pp suggested.

So someone posted the idea on here a few weeks ago. We got a green basket with multicolored plastic eggs. We will be filling them with blue, yellow, and green candy. (M&M's, dove, etc.)
There will be a note inside the basket that says something like
"Surprise! Brit and DH went to the doctor to check on their baby. Girls prefer pink and boys prefer blue, now open up the eggs so you can find out too!"
It will go to our parents and sibling. Cute, kinda corny, and fun! We're probably only going to be doing this once or twice, so we might as well have some fun with it.

I love the name Ben/Benjamin. It's DH's name, so it's off limits for us, but for you....!
Congrats!!! Our little boy will be named Samuel (Sam)...if we have another boy later on, I'm thinking Maxwell ('s Silver Hammer..."Max" lol). If we were having a girl, her name would be Abigail (Abbey - after my favorite Beatles album, Abbey Road).
If you're a nerd for buying a Beatles onesie, than I'm a major nerd - the room is decorated with a John Lennon Music Parade theme (discontinued like 10 years ago, but still oh so cute), the baby (so far) has at least 1 Beatles onesie/t-shirt in every size up to 18 months (including one direct from Liverpool! We went there last summer...Holy Beatles Mecca!). I've been making sure to listen to The Beatles everyday so little Sam is born loving my fab four.
