DD has been a great sleeper ever since 2 months. She has almost always slept for 10-12 hours straight. (I know, it's wonderful!)
But the past few weeks, she has started waking up between 4 and 5 am. For a little while, it was just a few times a week--but now she's done it every night for the last 8 days.
Sometimes I feed her and bring her into bed with me. If I do that she'll "sleep" til nine, but she spends most of the time cooing or playing with her Tigger, not really sleeping. Sometimes, I just changer her diaper, don't feed her (I don't think she's actually hungry), and put her in her swing. Then she'll sleep for another 2ish hours
I just can't figure out why she's doing it. Is this a mild version of the 4 month wakeful? Is she uncomfortable? Has she just lost her ability to sleep for 11 hours at a time? Have I pissed her off and now she's getting back at me?
I'm not really complaining, b/c she's still a good sleeper. I just want to know if theres something I can do to help her sleep better again.
Re: Why is she waking up? Can't figure it out.
thats what i was thinking, but i thought it would be much worse
