I pump at least once a day and EBF the rest of the time. I want LO to get used to a bottle for when she goes to the babysitter. For those who pump...how long to do you normally pump for and how much so you normally get? TIA!
I normally only pump for 10-15 minutes. How much I get changes throughout the day. DD is STTN so I always get more in the morning. I pump after she nurses and in the morning I usually get 3-4 oz. but by bedtime that's down to maybe 1 oz.

I try and pump for at least 20-30 minutes. I have a dual electric pump so this helps. I have a really crap supply so I only get about 1-2.5 ounces (combined) each pumping session.
We formula feed the rest of the time.

I also pump about once a day-sometime twice so I can get a bottle for DH to give LO before bedtime.
LO eats on one boob at a time-so when we wake up in the morning he feeds on one, and then I pump my other one (which is usually really full by morning).
I get about 5 ounces from one boob. I can usually get more if I pump the same time LO is eating.
Then throughout the day then I usually get 2-3 ounces per boob.

DS still eats every 2-3 hours except for one 4-5 stretch at night. I pump once between 8 and 11 am. I try to get a shower before to help relax but that doesn't always work out I get between 3-4 oz between the two, I guess since he just ate an hour before.
When I have pumped, I have pumped about 15 minutes on each side and I got about 3oz combined in the afternoon. When I have pumped after a morning feeding I got only 2 oz combined and I pumped for probably 15 minutes that time too. I have only pumped 3 times total so I am probably not the best person to be helping you out.
I've found that pumping works better for me than just nursing...plus, I'll be going back to work in 3 weeks and she'll be getting a bottle than, anyhow. However, I do a mix of the two.
When I pump, I pump for ~10 minutes...I have the Medela and it's awesome! I usually get 2 ounces out of my left and 3-4 out of my right...depending on how long it's been since I've pumped. We've been truly blessed and for the past week our then, 4 week old has been sleeping through the night. I fuel her up around 1030...she wakes up anywhere between 530 - 7...it's been great. I hope this keeps up...however, I am IN PAIN when I wake up...my boobs are rock hard and I have to pump because she physically can't get her mouth around me.

Gee, I'm dumb, I didn't even answer your question.
I pump for 20 minutes. I have a Medela freestyle. I notice that when I'm completely relaxed I get more.
