when people send or bring things for the baby, whats the most appropriate way to say thanks?

 

I was thinking when we order the annoucements we could write a little something on the back? Or is that tacky? Should we send a seperate thank you?

    Your idea sounds fine. :-)

    I ordered a bunch of prints from Walmart with a big picture of Mackenzie, and on the side it says "Thank you!" in a big pink font and below it, "What a Nice Welcome for Mackenzie" in brown. The colors match her nursery, shower invites & birth announcements- we've been doing pretty much everything pink & brown with tulips or white butterflies.

    my friend who organized my shower bought me two boxes of thank you notes. whenever i pump i write TYs for gifts. if we only got a card, i dont bother.

     

    i like your idea of just doing it on announcements though!

    I always write a separate thank you note. But I think your idea would be ok.
