Sorry for all the posts today. I feel like a lot of ladies on here have baby fever but are waiting for one reason or another. Who has it, and why are you waiting?
I sort of have it. It's coming in stronger and stronger, but I know I am definitely not ready after dealing with PPA and other things. I originally wanted to wait until DS was ~ 2 before we started to TTC again. It feels like it's so far away, but I know I need to stick with the original plan!

Re: Who has baby fever but is holding off?
Us. I've lost 20 of the 50 I gained while pregnant and feel huge.
I think about it often. I have my hands full with work and DD currently. The time will come when I know I'm ready....but DH is obsessed with the thought of more babies and wants to have a boy soooo bad.
Strangely enough, I have pregnancy/labor fever but not so much the baby part just yet. I thought my labor/delivery was the coolest thing ever (thanks to a wonderful epi, I'm sure
and I wish I had taken the time to enjoy my pregnancy a little more. I can't wait for all of that again.
As for the baby part, we're just really enjoying DS right now. I see benefits to having another one now, but I also see benefits to waiting. I think we just want some time with DS for a little while.
Yes, I have it. I am waiting because there is no way we can afford 2 in DC. DH is trying to get another job but the market is terrible right now. We are comfortable where we are at currently. We would like to TTC in January, but it isn't looking the best right now. I keep telling myself it will happen when the time is right, but I get impatient. My BFF also wants to be pregnant together and they are going to start in a few months I think, so that just adds to the fever.
I also have to lose about 60lbs due to health reasons. This is another reason why I am holding off currently.
DS - 5/2010
DD - 6-2013
TTC #3 - Cycle #9
Same here! My bff and her DH are starting to try in August. To be honest, that would be the best month for me to get pregnant if I wanted to this year. It would mean another May baby, which give me about 6 weeks (exactly what my work provides) and then summer vacation.......but I'm waiting.....I think.....yeah, I'm definately waiting
Me. Both of us, actually.
1. We are living apart. We're working on issues, but the number one reason to hold off for another 2 years is that we are in no position to bring another child into this world until we are absolutely sure that we're staying together
2. Debt. I have a lot of medical debt that I want to pay off prior to adding more onto an already hefty sum.
3. I have about a year and a half of finishing my Bachelors. I don't even want to be pregnant until it's done.
4. If #1 works out, I won't be moving back into the hell hole that he calls home. So, #4 and #5 will compliment each other---- save up for down payment on a "new" house, and move.
I do, my two best friends are both due this summer so I wish I was having another so that our LO's would be the same age. Plus now the Charlotte's getting to be a big girl I miss my baby.
We are holding off though because DH took an 18 month rotation to NJ and is only home on weekends, plus I would like to have another year or two to get our finances in order and maybe buy a home sometime in the next couple years. So we are talking about waiting till DD is about 3 - 3 1/2 til we have our next one.
ME ME ME! AND HIM! But I had a plan. First baby at 23 then 2.5 years after that then 3 after that..
Uhm yeah it worked more like 1st at 19 then 2.5 years later #2, but I still plan on sticking to my waiting to HAVE another till she's 3... So we will start trying November of 2012... I have my calendar marked! hehe..
Reasons to wait to conceive:
1. Haven't checked finances for day care
2. Still paying bills from last delivery
3. Surgery scheduled for momma in June
4. Sister TTC with no luck, bad timing
**looks at ticker....OOPS***
Same here- congrats!!!!
Me, me me.
Our reasons for waiting to fall is because I'm a teacher, and a June due date worked out well for not losing sick time.
We're also waiting for Lo to get a little older and be placed in the next class which is a little cheaper. I'm scared to death of the huge DC bill for 2, but it is what it is.
But I feel bad talking about it. My friend/coworker has been trying for 2-3 months and she's all down because she isn't getting preggo right away. For the longest time I didn't talk about it, but it's not far for me to go around all mum about the wanting #2 because she hasn't had #1 yet.

Congrats to guppy!
We're waiting for a bunch of reasons. I have pregnancy fever just not baby fever.
I need to finish my research/dissertation so I can get a job and we can afford 2 in daycare. And that won't happen until the beginning of 2013. So we have to wait, not like I could anyway (AF, where *are* you?) and being careful in the meantime just in case.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who's caught Baby Fever! I've got it bad right now. A couple of friends just had babies, so that's making it worse. Plus, I'm like a couple of PPs and thought my labor was amazing (all 31+ hours of it!). But, we're waiting a little longer, too.
DS has been sick a lot this winter (including 2 hospital stays), so I don't feel like we've had much time to enjoy being a family without worrying about that. We're also doing a huge addition to our house, so that definitely needs to be finished before we start adding babies to the mix.
So....sigh....no new babies in our house just yet.
Ha That's what I was thinking.. We want to have two but not looking forward to being pregnant again.
