So I'm sitting at my desk talking to my boss when a delivery guy comes in to get a ticket signed. After I signed the ticket he sat down and proceeded to listen to our whole conversation since he knows my boss. So my boss was asking me how I was feeling and all and I jokingly said that I've gotten really lazy with cooking dinners because I'm so exhausted by the time I get home. The driver starts almost yelling at me saying that I'm lazy and that women use pregnancy as an excuse for everything and that's stupid because women in the "old days" worked hard their entire pregnancies without complaining. Um, excuse me??? After driving two hours and working 10 hour days, I think I have a reason to not make dinners some nights! And WTF are you to yell at me about it???

Since when are men experts on pregnancy??

I'm still pissed about it!! It took all I had to keep my mouth shut and ignore him. I could refuse to get out of bed and never cook or shower or clean again for the next 5 months and it's still none of his damn business.... No wonder his wife left him...

You should have reminded him that women in the "old days" also died during childbirth with great regularity and infant mortality was almost 50%.

Sounds like one of my coworkers. I was talking to the guy yesterday, and said how my back was starting to hurt (I think I'd been standing for 6 hours at that point), and he gave me this look like "Why would you're back be hurting, you aren't showing yet." So in the conversation, I said something about hating standing for so long and how I get tired now when I didn't before. He said that's why he was glad his wife hasn't gotten pregnant yet, because he has no sympathy for the "condition". WTF?? Was I asking you to do my job for me? No! But I have to hear all about your sciatica and your back pain because you are such a lazy, obese asshat and we should all feel sorry for your aches and pains? He then tells me he hopes to get qualified for disability so he doesn't have to pay back any of his student loans. Way to cheat the system, you jerk. Ew, I could rant on this guy all day...
