Seriously. She will kick a ball in the yard for 5 minutes, and we are done. What do girly girls do outside besides blow lots of bubbles for 30 minutes? I need great ideas, and I know I will find them here.
Definitely sidewalk chalk. Do you have *girly* toys for her to ride on? (Princess scooters, bikes, etc.) So far my little girl plays with her big brother, so she gets into rocks and plays soccer, baseball, the whole nine:)
Water tables are fun in the summer. Although, mine drives me crazy because it takes up a lot of space in our garage.
It could be just her age right now too. Their attention span is close to non-existent, so they get bored easily.
Playhouse/playgrounds are good to do pretend...like princess in a castle or something. Jump rope, clapping games (like Miss Mary Mack and stuff), Hopscotch...
Chalk, bubbles, play grill, playhouse, swingset, ball pit. Audrey loves her playhouse. We have the house and garden one with the white picket fence and mailbox. It has a small kitchen, window box, and a toolbox in it.
Ava loves watering flowers! Last summer she'd water anything, and this summer I'm actually going to plant some stuff with her. She brought home a pot of dirt from school a couple weeks ago (not sure what they planted since it's just starting to sprout) but she has been really into watering it and checking on it, so I'm going to do a gardening theme with her Easter basket and get her some seed packets.
Other than that and what's already been mentioned she really likes hopscotch, beanbag toss and picnics and camping trips.

I have the opposite "problem". I have a hard time coming up with ideas for my DD who seems to really enjoy dirt, sticks, puddles...anything that she can get dirty in.

Thank you for the wonderful ideas. We have sidewalk chalk...gets her hands icky. A water table...gets her shoes wet. Ride on toys....makes her work too hard because she insists on going in the grass. The play house is good for 5 minutes until a bug crawls in or flies by, then all bets are off. Whatever am I going to do with her? We are on the hunt for a wooden play set, sand box, and other outdoor toys. We are doing a veggie garden this year, so I may try to get her to help me. Not counting on it though. I am so used to raising a fearless crazy boy, that I have no stinking idea what to do with missy prissy. I was all tomboy growing up, so I fear I am useless to her outside this summer.
keep a lot of crafts nearby? Rhinestones, foam stickers, pipe cleaners to make "jewelry". Michaels and JoAnn have tons of stuff for kids and you can score it with a 40% coupon (FTR I think Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnn all take each others coupons as well)
