Hair stylist rec's

Awhile back I saw some rec's for I believe it was Amy at Pure Concept Salon in Mason on here.

For those of you that use her, how happy are you honestly w/ her work?  Is she consistent?  Do you always have to tell her (b/c she asks) how she cut your hair the last time you saw her?  Is she good for the cost (and if you know would you mind sharing how much she charges?)?

I know they prob sound like silly questions, but I've been fighting these same issues w/ my current stylist for about a year now.  She is inexpensive and when she does a good job, she does it awesome.  But 1/3 haircuts are not what I asked her for, or she doesn't listen to what I tell her.  The color (hilights) are usually not a problem, but now she is starting to not do those the way I really liked months ago.  She seems lately to be going off memory, even though I know she still has the pics I gave her of the cut & color I want (and now I don't have them to show anyone else, sigh).  TIA for any info!

    I don't know about your current stylist but the title of your post seems like you might be looking for recommendations. A few weeks ago I suggested my stylist, Tiffany at Salon Bastille in Montgomery and two of the gals went to her. Both said they were pleased so I thought I'd throw that option out to you.

    I'm def in the market for a new hair stylist, sooner than later.  I guess that was kinda unclear, sorry!  I'm open to suggestions, but def don't want to spend too much more than I am currently.  My current lady charges $20 for a cut and I believe I pay about $85 give or take for a cut & highlights, but am willing to spend more if the person is really good.  TIA!
