My mother volunteered me to do the games at my cousins baby shower this weekend. Not sure why b/c she knows that I HATE playing shower games and basically forbid them at my own showers. Anyway... I need something quick and painless please. No dirty diapers, eating baby food, or anything else gross or lame.

I actually enjoy the game of making a list (i.e. wipes, hand sanitizer, etc) and asking people if they have it...The one who has what's on the list wins the most.
Shows that Moms carries a bunch of stuff!
No. Women only. Boring women- lol.
There's some sort of bingo game where guests mark off baby items on a bingo card for prizes.
Also, at one of my sister's showers, they handed out paper plates and markers. We wrote our name on one side of the plate, then put it on our head and tried to draw a picture of a baby without looking. My sister got to choose the winner.
There were some pretty clever drawings.
OK, these are good. Did you know there is a Baby Shower board?

Stole some ideas from over there. I like the purse game and gift bingo could be good w/ my family. We do play bingo for Christmas so I know that one will go over well w/ this crowd.
I did this (old and new songs for all generations) and gave an itunes gc for the prize. it went over well.
I also did a powerpoint slideshow of paparazzi photos of kids with their moms, covered the mom's faces with a black circle. Each person had to guess the kid's name and the mom's name. The prize was US Weekly and People Magazine.
I hate games, so when I was put in charge, I did these to try and make it unique and everyone had some laughs and fun with it.
I have done the baby shower bingo. Empty bingo sheet and you fill in what gifts you think they will get. Easy because they make their own board.
Poster board with pictures of celebrity kids and people had to guess the parents.
Jars of baby food with the labels taken off and you have to guess what it is. We did this by looking only. No tasting.
Not really a game but fun to do. Index cards for people to write wisdom to the parents to be.
Print pictures of pregnant celebrities and have a list of their names, cover the faces and have people guess who is who.
Have a "who knows the mama the best" quiz - when you ask questions about the mom to be and see who gets the most right.
DMoney will be a kickass big sister
We played a fill-in-the-blank nursery rhyme game. It was a lot more fun that I expected it to be! And kind of hard, too!
People also brought a baby picture of themselves and we had to guess who was who.
1) Divide up into teams (4-5 ppl per team) and give them all a notepad and a pen. Each team has to come up with as many songs as they can that have the word "baby" in either the title or the song within a certain time frame (5-10 min). You then go around the room, and each team names a song one at a time. As teams run out of songs (no repeats), they're out, and the last team standing gets a prize. You can get Baby Ruths or something small as a prize.
2) Somewhere online there's a "complete the nursery rhyme" sheet. Give them like 2 minutes to complete the sheet and whoever completes it with the most right answers gets a prize.
3) Split up into teams and give them all some baby magazines, a piece of paper, scissors and glue or tape. They have to construct what they think the baby is going to look like, and the momma to be picks the winner.
Quick, easy and fun games:
1. Give everyone a piece of paper, a pen and something hard to write on (a magazine, clip board, etc). Everyone puts the paper on their head (on top of the hard surface) and draws a picture of a baby. You have 60 seconds to draw. Then, the mom-to-be gets to choose the winning picture. Everyone laughs at how terrible the drawings are.
2. Another pen-and-paper game: Give everyone a piece of paper and a pen. You have two minutes to write down song titles with the word "baby" in them. You start to find winners by saying "Raise your hand if you had 5 titles... 6 titles... 7 titles..." Etc. and the winner has to read aloud her titles.
3. This game only takes yarn or ribbon, and scissors. As guests arrive, you ask them to guess the size of the mother-to-be's belly with ribbon. They cut their length or ribbon/yarn and hold on to it. Then, the attendees get to try their ribbon around the mom-to-be's belly and the closest is the winner. It gets the mom-to-be to move around to each guest (if she is able) and gets people talking, too.
I also saw something cute at the last shower I went to. Each winner of the games got a prize, but so did the mom-to-be. Nothing fancy--it was something like a bottle of baby wash or whatnot. But it was nice to give the mom-to-be some prizes, too.
Buy smallish baby items (bottle, baby food, diaper cream, wipes etc..) put them in a cute basket. When the games begin display them somewhere and play price is right. Give each lady a list of the items and they price the items.
Example: Jar of Earth's Best food = _____ and so on. The one who has the most items the closest to the cost of the items wins.
A flower arrangement or some other household gift is the prize. The mom-to-be gets the basket full of baby items.
Grandmothers and older moms loves this, they get a chance to reminisce how times have changed with newer baby products.
