Pink eye ???

M eye's have had some discharge the past few days. Today I noticed one eye looks a little red. Is this pink eye? I am going to call the pedi in the morning. I don't think they are bothering her at all. Thanks girls!

I don't know, when I had pinkeye it would be really bad in the morning, sometimes hard to open my eye. Hopefully hers won't be that way when she wakes up tomorrow. Poor thing, I hope it's gone in the morning!

It could be. I got it often when working in day care. Mine would be red, kind of irritated, with discharge and itchy. I would call the Dr in the morning, just in case.

The only times my kids have had goopy eyes it was pink eye. It never seemed all crusty like I remember getting as a kid. Eye drips worked fast. Good luck! Oh one tip on eye drops. Have her lay down and close her eyes. Drop a drop in the corner of her eye and then have her blink and it'll run in. Much less drama than trying to aim for an open eye.

Hmm, when Lucy had it, it developed overnight...literally. She has some green eye boogies (sorry if that sounds gross!) on Sunday evening. By Monday morning when she woke up, her eyes were almost swollen shut with the goop.

Hopefully M doesn't have it. Good luck at the pedi's tomorrow!

Thanks girls! I will be calling 1st thing in the morning. Her eye goop kinda looks like snoot (ICKY). I will let you know what the doc says
