I read in your update that you are considering taking away the paci. I was thinking of doing the same thing bc she only uses it to fall asleep for naps and occasionally at night.  But, now I've caught her sucking her thumb a few times this weekend so I think I'd rather keep the paci.

 

Keep me updated on how it goes without the paci.

    I really don't think I'll take it away, but the boys too have discovered their thumb.  And even thought they look ADORABLE sucking their little finger, I rather the paci!

    LOL, it's cute until they're 8 yrs old and still doing it.  My little cousin is like that and she's going to need surgery to fix what she's done to her nose and mouth bc of the thumbsucking.  Her parents tried everything to stop her.  But, nothing worked.

     

    I hope it's just a phase for our little ones.
