The past two nights, Katelyn has vomited in her sleep. I am talking a huge, strong, get everything out vomit. On Friday night/Saturday morning, I heard her crying at 6:00am and her whole crib was coated in vomit. Last night, I heard her cry at 1:00am and the exact same thing had happened.
She is not sick. No fever and she acts totally normal when I go in there. Last night, she was running around her room, laughing and playing when I was cleaning up her crib.
She hasn't been introduced to any new foods in a while, so it isn't allergies.
When I google, I see scary things, like epilepsy and seizures. Has this ever happened to anyone else???
Re: What could be wrong with my LO?
How old is she?
When Henry was 15 months(ish) old he started vomiting in his sleep (and sometimes during meal time).
After a few weeks of diet restriction and changes, we (the pedi and I) finally decided it was a weird recurrence of his reflux that had gone away when he was like 9 months old...
At that point he went back on Zantac (vomiting stopped). We took him off of it at 18 months (vomiting started back up again) so we put him back on it (vomiting stopped again) and finally took him off about a month ago, at 21 months and (knock wood) it hasn't started again.
Kids are weird. Hope whatever it is stops soon!!!!!

This, or seasonal allergies, or congestion (in general), or a touch of reflux (which ONLY seemed to be a problem for J from around 15-18 months). Those seem to be the only times that we've dealt with vomit, and it's usually always at bedtime.
Thanks for everyone's responses! It turns out that I think she has a stomach bug. We were playing outside yesterday and, out of no where, she turns to me and just vomits for about 5 minutes.
At 2am, I had to run to the bathroom because I got sick. So gross. Vomiting is something I cannot stand doing.
She didn't vomit overnight, so hopefully she is on the mend. Thanks again!
