I cant remember if you can take a stool softener while pg (esp. during 1st tri). Has anyone asked their dr yet or have their med list handy? I am on Zofran pretty much all day every day and its killing me-- I dont think I can stomach anymore fiber or juice and I know medication is the only thing to help. I was thinking of taking colace or miralax if either of those are safe. TIA!

I'm taking Colace...my pharmacist told me that many PNVs have it in it but since mine doesn't, she said to just take it separately. So far it seems to be working!

Agreed 100%
I take generic miralax twice a day and my OB/midwives are fine with it.
If I don't, I get really bad...well, tears. It's awful. truly one of the worst pains. Sometimes, it comes back even with the two scoops of miralax, but it's rare and usually because I am neglecting something else- like fluids.
I also take a prenatal without iron b/c I've never had iron problems, if anything I might have too much iron for some reason.
And I am wondering if I have a dairy allergy, so I am cutting it all out right now even though I am pregnant. I am eating greens and drinking lots of fortified orange juice instead of milk.
