4moms mamaRoo

Does anyone have experience with a 4moms mamaRoo? I'm due in July and am considering registering for this instead of a big bulky swing.

I'd love to hear real life opinions if anyone has any! TIA.

Re: 4moms mamaRoo

  • We have one. I think I would get a swing if I could do it again. The mamaroo seems to go slower than a swing would. It's cute though. My little guy liked it for short periods, but he had untreated reflux then so maybe that's why he wouldn't stay in it longer.

  • We had one and she loved it for the first few weeks... but then we got a swing instead. Honestly, it's fine for very little babies, but once they're a couple months old, they will have outgrown it.

  • My LO still loves it, she takes her evening nap in it, but then again, she's not a picky baby, she'll pretty much be happy where ever we put her. She lays in it in the evening looking around and we put toys on her lap to help her with her gripping and then she just falls asleep. The white noise is nice and we love not having to worry about it! And the small footprint is awesome along with how light the swing is.
  • I have a mamaRoo and a swing... I personally don't think the mamaRoo takes the place of a swing, its just another baby gadget. We do love it and it looks great in the family room. We have the swing hidden away in the playroom.

  • i think it was a big waste of money and not worth it at all! i am so disappointed! get an awesome swing instead if i were you!

i lovvvve the way it looks and think it would be so cool but it was vastly underwhelming!

  • I have the mamaroo and a swing and my LO likes the swing better. The mamaroo just doesn't move fast enough. The only plus that I find with the mamaroo is that it is electric so I am not changing batteries every other day.
