I'm trying to compile a list of the essentials required to survive a m/c. Please help me add to my list since I will be going to the store tonight and plan to stock up.
(An easy read)
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle! April 2011 CP @ 5 weeks
I suck at PIP but add tissues and a heating pad if you don't already have one.

"And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one weak creature makes a void in any heart, so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of vast eternity can fill it up." - Charles Dickens
i needed good music, my oversized pups, lots of hot tea, a good book, and i could not have done this without some crappy old movies that used to love as a teen...
having a very sweet friend who did NOT tell me that this happens to most women was a great solace... she just showered on the hugs when needed, and listened if i wanted to talk...
and yes, the essential sweats and (for me) cozy sweater and heating pads...
I really wish you where not going through this, Kristy. The Universe is so unfair. I really wanted to see you with a LO. It pisses me off that things did not go well. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do. Sending you the biggest hugs ever.
Forever buddy to Angelica; Natural Miscarriage Jan. 2008 @ 11 weeks; 2 years of BFFN's; DX: Unexplained IF (RE thinks IF is due to tubal issues); IUI #1 & 2= BFFN; IUI#3 = BFP, resulted in Cornual ectopic pregnancy; IUI #4 - 6 =BFFN; Our next endeavor... I'm so sorry, Kristy. I know that we're likely in different time zones and that I'm probably too late to help, but I didn't see anyone say cozy PJs and nice, fluffy TP. And lots of it. I'm also a huge fan of lavender oil for your temples or spray for your pillow. It's really soothing and always helps me with sleep.
Huge, huge hugs.
BFP#1 10/19/09, m/c 12/5/09, BFP#2 2/03/12, m/c 2/12/12, BFP#3 3/18/13, LO born 11/22/13
I am so sorry you have to go through this. PPs got it just right. I have to give you extra points for the Gilmore Girls. *hugs* I would also add some trashy magazines to your list.

Re: The essentials to survive m/c
PAL/PGAL Welcome
Too lazy to pip but:
And massive hugs.
I agree with everything else posted but wanted to add
and
I used alcohol and narcotics as my coping mechanisms... but if I didn't have narcotics I'd probably have taken Benadryl to help me sleep through it...
BIG HUGS Kristy because again, I am SO so sorry.

I am thinking that hard alcohol is the best.
A puppy to cuddle with.

I dont have anything that you don't already have posted but...hugs
I agree with pp's. I liked Thermacare heat wraps that went on your back. Then you could get up and pee and take your heat with you.
Big hugs
