Hi ladies! I lurk a lot around the national bump boards, and I rarely post, but I need help!

I am looking for DFW area photography recommendations. We want to book a newborn session for our impending bundle of joy, but I have no idea how to research this!

I'm very overwhelmed by the pricing I have found hunting through google ... who would you all recommend for a mama on a budget?

I used Heather King. She has a grow with me package that is maternity, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and one year. You get a CD with all the edited and unedited photos and a print release so you can print what you want when/where ever and use the digital versions online (facebook, blog, whatever). I think she raised her prices from when I purchased a year ago, but she is still very reasonable for that number of sessions and the discs.

She charges a session fee, and then gives you the images on CD with a print release. No minimum print order or any of that jazz!

this is a photographer friend of mine and i will say, she's great, too. but she doesnt travel right now, i dont think, bc of bedrest. so depending on where you live, she'll rec other photogs she likes in your area
