Recommend your baby gate

I don't know why this seems so hard, but I went to BRU today, since MJD has finally started crawling, and I just stared at them.  Please recommend what you have for the top and bottom of stairs.

    Top of stairs definitely needs to be one that screws into the wall.  I prefer metal ones just b/c there are less pieces that might break.  Although I have found that the wall mount parts are usually cheap plastic and break pretty easily with normal wear.  Keep all the product info so you can call the company for a replacement if needed.  For all other locations, the best ones are the white metal IKEA gates.  Hands down.  We have 4 in our house, 2 at my moms, and my brother has 3.  My brother had owned his for nearly 10 years and they still work perfectly!  They are hard to find at our IKEA so ask them to show you where they are.
