some random bits...

1 - Thank you everyone for such kind words the other day about my teen parenting drama... We'll get through it, it's just tough. Things were better for like a day but, unfortunately things were every bit as bad, possibly worse, today. If you sent me a message, I promise I'll get back to you.  You have no idea how much it means (and how much it helped) to read all you had to say.  I'm just feeling emotionally drained and having a hard time talking about it at the moment.

2 - Oh my gosh - Henry is making some incredible strides with his speech!! Tuesday he put 3 - yes 3 - signs together!! A little sign language sentence!  He was telling me about 'hearing' the 'wind' outside his 'window'.  It was so cute!  He was telling me all about it when I got him out of his crib after his nap. AND yesterday he put 3 WORDS together!! He has never even said 2 words together before! Kind of gross/kind of funny but I asked him if had poop in his diaper, he shook his head no (which was a lie).  So I said "Yes you do!" to which he replied "No I don't".  It was just about the cutest thing I've ever heard.... to hear more than one syllable sounds come out of my quiet boy.. his little voice is so precious.  It actually sounded like "No-uh-doe" all together/one word kind of way, but still!! And he's been saying it a whole bunch since, it wasn't a fluke!

3 - I could not be more aggravated that Ben has to travel all week.  Again.  And leaves tomorrow at 7am.  

4 - Jack has his first baseball game this coming Saturday. (go FT White Sox, lol) I'm pretty excited to see the kids all dressed up in their uniforms, they're too cute.  His practices have been hysterical (they're 5 and 6 year olds playing actual baseball, not tee-ball, so yeah, it's awesomely funny).  The best player on the team is the only girl, she rocks.  Jack calls baseballs 'baseball balls'.  Got his Momma's athletic abilities, that one

5 -  I got a FB request from a weird guy that I used to be kind of friends a long time ago when Sophia was a baby (but, as I mentioned he was weird).  We had mutual friends, he had a crush on me but was quite a bit older than me.. he finally went away when he accidentally got some equally weird chick pregnant. Anywho.  He has a daughter now and her name is Sophia too.... I think that's weird.  I really *really* hope it's just a coincidence and the mom just really loved the name.  I dunno.  He was a creeper.

6 - I am just exhausted.. have been for days but, I just can't sleep.  And the few times I do fall asleep I can't stay asleep very long.  I know it's stress.  What on earth should I do?  Any tips?
