Hi, everyone! I'm hoping you all can answer my question...its probably a very obvious answer, I'm just thinking about it too much. What is the advantage of the newborn napper feature that is on some pack n plays? Can't the baby just sleep in the pack n play itself? Or is it more of a convenience thing for DH and me? Thanks in advance for your answers....and for not laughing at me
Re: Probably dumb question about pack n plays
There would be too things on top.
The brothers I Rule and OMG! with their faithful sidekickFootFoot.
My life has a superb cast but I can't figure out the plot.
It is more convenient for you.
It's actually pretty hard to get a newborn down to the bottom of the pack'n'play without waking them. No problem if you have a good sleeper... But not ideal if you have a baby that wakes easily when you try to put them down.

I used a bassinet that a friend let me borrow because the whole c-section thing wouldn't let me bend/pick up DS easily.
This. Almost all the pack n plays that I've looked at have the upper level that comes with it, so you don't have to bend down to the bottom. The bottom part is for when they get older.
