DVDs for a long car ride?

I'm taking DS to Atlanta at the end of the month with my mom and Grandma. I'll probably do most of the driving since my mom drives too slow, and I think it takes about 8 hours. We'll try to break it up into two days each way.

DS won't watch a movie yet - any recommendation for DVD's that we could take (and bonus points if you have something we could borrow!!)... He'll watch Sesame Street usually, and Dora...

What will keep his interest??

  • You should borrow some stuff from the library now and see what he likes. There's a limit to how many dvds you can take out at one time. When we drove to FL I got mickey mouse club house, curious george, sesame street, and some other tv show dvds. It worked great!

  • We watched Wiggles You Make Me Feel Like Dancing over and over on our trip to the beach last summer. A had B watching Yo Gabba Gabba all the way down. Both kids were mesmorized by their show.

Audrey loves Wiggles, Dora, Diego, Elmo's World, Team Umizoomi, Bubble Guppies, Cars, Tinker Bell, Toy Story.

I would check out some from the library or hit up the $5 section of kids' dvds at target.

  • Ethan was really into The Backyardigans at Fin's age :)
