So I "thought" that I would use prefolds and covers for my LO and now I've decided I don't like them. I have a few AIO's, pockets and fitteds but she is already over 9lbs and some of them won't fit her soon enough.  I just don't want to buy anything that won't grow with her . Of course I like the AIO's out of laziness ( but $$$) but would prefer a pocket over a fitted. What are you ladies liking the most out of your stash? Aplogizes if this has been discussed recently.

    I have a little bit of everything in my newborn stash. I thought I would like the Kissaluvs the best, but I actually really like my Thirsties Fab Fitteds and Thirsties Duos - I think they fit up to 18 pounds in size 1. I also like our BG 3.0 xs for going out, because it's way trimmer, and have smalls in that and a stash of 4.0s, Flips and Elementals for when he's older. I also have Fuzzibuns pockets in small and the perfect size, but he's too little for those yet. 

    LO really doesn't seem to care for prefolds; I think he can really feel how wet he is in them. 

    Our LO is much smaller than yours though - he was 6 pounds, 4 ounces when we brought him home and will just be three weeks on Monday.

    I got prefolds and covers too, but found out that I dont like them much. I use the prefolds as inserts for my pocket diapers though. I use BG OS diapers (I have a few 1.0's, 2.0's and 3.0's that I got for cheap) as well as Nubunz and Sweetdollbaby diapers. DS fit in them around 3 weeks old (he was probably close to 9 lbs at the time).

    I am okay with my prefolds and covers.  However, this week I got Flips in the mail with stay dry inserts!  I LOVE them.  And I can use the Flip cover over the prefolds when I run out of stay dry inserts.  I only have 5 inserts so far, but I am definitely buying more.  I haven't tried anything else because we don't have the money to get AIOs and so on.  Maybe if I find some on Craiglist or Diaperswappers... or any of the other countless places to get used.

    I had bought a big package deal of BG 4.0 with snaps & I do like them now that DD is starting to fit into them but I really loved the perfect size BG with velcro that I bought at a gently used sale right after she was born since she was too small for the AIO. Fuzzibunz perfect size pocket diapers are pretty good too. Definitely check your area for gently used sales set up by your local CD stores - I got some great deals there!
