Here at the hospital....

March 31st due date mom here.. We started our induction with Cytotec tonight April 8th-9th at 7:30pm... It is now 4:00 am and I can't sleep. The second dose has really kick started my contractions.. They are right on top of each other right now.. My last check at 1:30 I was at 2cm dialated. Our next dose is due at 5:30, but if I progressed enough, I won't need it.. Man if Cytotec is this grusom, then what is pitosin like? yikes!! Just using thebump as a place to distract my thoughts... Thank you

    Good Luck!  I ended up not having to have the third dose of cytotec, because I was contracting so much- not dialating though.  They started pitocin that morning instead and things kicked up.  I did still have to have my water broke though.  After that, things moved faster.  I didn't really dialate much until I got the epi though.  Sounds like you're doing good if you're already dialating!  You'll do great, your baby is almost here!!

    Are they giving you the cytotec slurry or the vaginal stuff?
