Any Hidden Jewels for Maternity Clothes?

Hey ladies!

So I am now at the point where my normal pants, and even my fat pants are snug around the waist, so it's time to head to the maternity side.  Does anyone have any recs for great places in the Boston area to shop for maternity stuff?  I am interested in both new and pre-owned stuff.

    I usually go to Mimi Maternity at the South Shore Plaza, Kohl's, Old Navy, and Target. This way I can find reasonable clothes. Ann Taylor Loft has some nice stuff online too.

    I was in Macy's at the Cambridge Galleria recently and much to my surprise they have a "new" maternity section.  I assume it really is new.  Prices like all things at Macy's are even lower than marked.  A pleasant surprise!

    I just looked it up and noticed that only some Macy's carry maternity.

     

    Does anyone know if any other Macy's in Boston area or South of Boston now carry this line?

    I don't know offhand but I'm sure if you call whichever stores are near you, they could tell you.  Too bad it isn't listed on their website.

    Hi, 

    Gap Maternity has always been a savior for me.  There's a location at the Natick Collection.

    An online site I've liked - www.bellydancematernity.com.  They sell clothes that can also be worn post pregnancy.  Not so much maternity, just comfy, stylish clothes.

    Its probably a hike but there is a great 2nd hand store in Pembroke, The Kid's Closet. They have kids and maternity name brand clothes. Great prices. Old navu on line is good too and if it doesn't fit you can bring it back at the stores. I just noticed Boden has Maternity clothes as well!

    I second the place in Pembroke, I got a gap maternity sweater there for $3.75 and an Old Navy beach cover up for $5. I have ordered from Boden but haven't gotten my item yet, it ships from the UK so it takes 2 weeks to arrive.  If you go on to the destination maternity website and click on locations, it tells you which Macy's carry Motherhood Maternity. Most of the Macy's have it.  The best one is Downtown Crossing, because they have Pea in a Pod.

    oh yeah, I forgot to mention, H&M does maternity too but only some locations (South Shore Plaza and Downtown Crossing, to name 2).

    Forever 21 has a maternity section! I havent checked it out - I am only like one second pregnant. I know there are a lot of opinions about a store geared toward the very young having a maternity section, and I am way to old to shop there but I do from time to time. It is a really good place to stock up on basics like T-Shirts, leggins, ect. Im hoping their maternity section is the same way. They carry maternity at the Arsenal Mall store.

    Kid to Kid is a second hand store in Natick, almost into Wellsley off of Rte 9.  They have awesome stuff, both for kids stuff and maternity stuff.  Good luck!!
