Babies: 0 - 3 Months

If you use sleepsacks/wearable blankets....

how many times do you use them before washing them? I figure they don't get dirty in any real way because I put them over a footed sleeper, she never wets out of the diaper, and drool can't even get on it while she's asleep so I honestly let her wear one for 3-4 nights in a row before switching to the other one.

  • DD's going on about a week and a half! She only wears it in her crib over her footie pj's so it's not like it gets really dirty.

  • I think 3-4 nights is perfectly reasonable.  I used to use the same Miracle Blanket for about a week, barring any major spit up or diaper explosions.

BTW, did you ever get the coupon?

  • I wash mine after each night, but have no idea why! It's not like he gets them dirty. Must just be a habit...

I used to do this as well until just this last month. I just finally wondered why the heck would I wash it every time? I don't wash my blankets every morning! I guess since I started letting her go 1/2 a week in one, I think I feel guilty or something lol.

But I don't care because when I upgrade those to fleece, I am NOT spending $60 on 3 fleece sleepsacks. She'll make do with 2 juuuuust fine.

Keep an eye out for Kohl's to have sales. ?I got fleece sleepsacks for $8 each a few weeks ago! ?They are the Carters ones that were originally $20 each. ?Between my Mom and I we bought 6. ?:)?
